SQLBits: I've registered, have you?

This week I had the fantastic news that my company would pay for me to go to the training day at SQLBits V.

So what is SQLBits?

SQLBits V is the fifth reincarnation of the UK’s premier SQL Server conference which will be taking place over 3 days in Newport, Wales on 19th – 21st November.

Day 1: A choice of all day training sessions on a variety of SQL subjects.

Day 2: Several shorter sessions all based on SQL Server 2008.

Day 3: A free community day with lots of sessions from high quality speakers.

Earlier in the year I attended the community day at SQL IV in Manchester where I must admit having never been to one of the conferences before I was totally overwhelmed by the number and quality of speakers there.

Once you get over the initial disaster recovery scary stories which appeared to be most DBA’s introduction we appear to be a verry friendly bunch. So if you want to pick up a few tips or even expand your technical network it’s definitely worth attending.

  • Hello from Russia!
Can I quote a post in your blog with the link to you?

Sure no problem, most blogging software will have functionality called pingback or trackback which you can use to make things easier. This will also leave a comment here with a link to your posting allowing readers from either site to follow the topic.
