Those awesome organisers at SQLBits have gone and done it again! The next SQL Server extravaganza has been announced and is going to be held in Liverpool 29th September – 1st October 2011.
For those of you not familiar with SQLBits it’s run by a group of SQL MVP’s for the community and has recently become the biggest SQL Server event in Europe. If the format stays the same as previous events then it will be go along the lines of the following:
- Day 1 is a paid for pre-conference training day.
- Day 2 is a paid for training day, but split into hour long sessions with around 4 different tracks to choose from.
- Day 3 is community day and free to attend, like day 2 this is split into hour long sessions with around 4 different tracks to choose from.
I myself have been to 5 of the 8 SQLBits and have enjoyed every single one! If you want to read more about my take on these events then check out some of my previous blogs on SQLBits here.
All the SQLBits sessions from the community days are now recorded which you can download or view online so you can even view those that you did not manage to attend on the day. They really do make a great training resource.
The line up has not yet been announced so you too could find yourself on stage presenting, simply go to http://www.sqlbits.com/information/SessionSubmission.aspx and register your interest. One of the good things about SQLBits is that it’s the members that get to vote on which sessions they wish to see rather than those somebody thinks you should.
Further details will be announced on the SQLBits site in the near future so make sure you keep checking back. To keep up to date with the latest news on SQLBits make sure that you follow the following twitter tags #SQLBits and #SQLBits9.
